AAU Grants Its Team Full Scholarships at the Hult World Prize

AAU granted four of its students, who won the Hult World Prize at the level of Jordan full scholarships. The AAU President, Prof. Sari Hamdan, and the Chairman of the AAU Board of Directors, Dr. Maher Ahmed Al-Hourani, received the winning students and thanked them for their distinction and wished them success in the final stage of this Prize, which will be held internationally in London in the coming months, with a final prize of one million dollars. The AAU team, the E-Regulator team, comprised the students Omar Nafi, Laith Bader, Majdi Al-Shawish, and Laith Hiari. The University team supported by the AAU business incubator participated in this global competition by submitting a project for developing an electronic device and a smart application to monitor water and gas leaks at homes. The Chairman of the Board of Directors honored the winning students by granting them full scholarships to support and motivate them to continue the path of excellence and to elevate the name of the University and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan aloft in international forums. The honorary ceremony was attended by Mrs. Enas Ahmed Al-Hourani, the Director of AAU Public & International Relations, who was the main AAU supporter of the participation in the “third version” of this global competition, and Dr. Anas Al-Saud, the Director of AAU Business Incubator and the supervisor of this distinguished team.
