Al-Ahliyya Amman University Hosts the General Manager of The Social Security Corporation

On Wednesday, 23 March 2022, Al-Ahliyya Amman University hosted Dr. Hazem Al-Rahahleh, General Manager of the Social Security Corporation (SSC), where he presented an awareness lecture about the SSC and its policies and future plans at Al-Hourani E-Learning Center. The lecture was attended by Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan, President of the University, Vice-Presidents, Assistants to the President, Deans of faculties, a number of heads of academic departments, faculty and administrative staff members and a group of students. Dr. Al-Rahahleh began by introducing the programs and services provided by the SSC to its members and the social protection umbrella offered by the SSC aimed at preserving the rights of the working class, providing insurance and retirement benefits in addition to benefits offered to the members or their families in cases of old age, disability, death, work injuries, etc. He also talked about transforming most of the organization's services to become fully electronic for individuals and establishments in addition digitizing payment methods and all requirements and papers, in order to provide more convenience and decrease the time and effort needed. Al-Rahahleh demonstrated the SSC’s efforts that took place during the Corona pandemic which were in the form of proactively compensating companies and individuals that were affected in order to support the national economy. Dr. Al-Rahahleh answered a number of questions and discussed interventions during this lecture. For his part, Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan thanked Dr. Al Rahahleh and the SSC members for their efforts and for accepting the invitation to this meeting and confirmed that Al-Ahliyya Amman University seeks to partner with all public service institutions that aim to look after the future of the generations to come. At the end of the meeting, Dr. Al-Rahahleh was presented with the University Shield in recognition of his efforts.
