Professor Sharuch Chariat gives a lecture at Al-Ahliyya Amman University

Professor Sharuch Chariat, a member of the Advisory Board of Al-Hourani Center for Applied Scientific Research, lectured on Sunday, 19 June 2022 a group of researchers at Al-Ahliyya Amman University in the presence of vice-presidents and deans of faculties at the university. The Rector of the university Professor Dr. Sari Hamdan received in his office Professor Sharuch in the presence of the Director of Al-Hourani Center for Applied Scientific Research Professor Dr. Anas Al-Saud. Professor Sharuch is currently professor and head of the Department of Urology and Head of the Comprehensive Cancer Center at the Vienna Medical University, Vienna General Hospital in Austria. He is also a professor of urology at Weill Cornell Medical Center, New York; Medical Center of Texas Southwestern University - USA; Faculty of Medicine, Charles University, Czechoslovakia; and Shenov State Medical University of Russia; and holds an honorary doctorate from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Bucharest, and Simelois University, Budapest - Hungary. Professor Sharuch has published more than 1,600 arbitrated research papers (Scopus h-index 118 and 55,267 citations; Google's index of researchers h-index 139 and 77,624 citations), more than 600 non-indexed research papers, and wrote 26 chapters in specialized books. He has four patents stemming from his research into prostate and bladder cancer and has received numerous national and international awards. Professor Sharuch has been a researcher and member of Al-Hourani Center for Applied Scientific Research since last year and in partnership with the Pharmaceutical and Diagnostic Research Center (PDRC) at the Faculty of Supporting Medical Sciences at Al-Ahliyya Amman University.
